During this last dash to the end of the semester, it’s always tempting for me to skip on prayer.  But prayer is the lifeblood of the spiritual life.  Without it, our spiritual lives will wither.  How can we say that we’re friends with Jesus unless we talk to him?

When times become difficult, turn more to God.  Persevere in prayer.  If you fail, don’t get down on yourself.  Begin again.
