Note: After much delay (which you can read about that here), I’m posting on March 31, 2024 this Sunday homily when I was as a deacon at the St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Hawaiian Gardens, Calif., next to Long Beach.
Centered around Matthew 28:16-20, I gave it once on Sunday, May 21, 2023, for the Solemnity of the Ascension (In California, the feast is transferred to a Sunday). I suspect that it was the 6 p.m. Vigil Mass or the 8 a.m. Mass because this recording was followed by two Spanish versions of the same homily (I will post the best of the two later) for the 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Masses.
I announced to the parish about my upcoming transfer to Rome.
God bless.
