Prayer requests for June 2024

Here are the prayer requests for this month.  I pray for these intentions daily.  You can pray for all of them or some of them.  If you want to submit a prayer request, see the instructions at the end of the list.  Let’s pray for each other.  Please notify me of any favors granted or any praise reports.

  1. The Church: May the mercy of the Sacred Heart of Jesus take root in all hearts, especially in priests, deacons, seminarians, religious lives, consecrated lives/orders and potential vocations.
    • Father Jonas on his first anniversary of priestly ordination (June 16).
    • Nine Oblates of the Virgin Mary from the U.S. travel to Italy (June 10-24) to visit the sites of Fr. Bruno Lanteri, the founder of the Oblates.
    • Br. Richard Brett, MC on his ongoing formation toward final vows.
  2. An end to abortion: May God touch the hearts of women who are considering abortion to trust in Him and keep the child.
  3. Countries hit by natural disasters (weather, fire & earthquakes), conflicts and struggles: May God protect the people and lead them to safety through the efforts of first responders and government leaders.
  4. Job search: May God encourage those seeking work and prompt employers to hire them.
    • Bless Neha with bank job or government job in B’lore, Nikki to be placed in the best engineering company with a good job package in B’lore, and Vellu Judy with good health and good jobs in B’lore.

  5. Conversions: May God touch these harden hearts to hear the voice of His Son, especially through the loving actions of others and through reparations to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
    • End of corruption in our justice system.
  6. Healing and prosperity:
    • Fr. Larry Darnell
    • All cancer patients.
    • Diane: healing of leg and foot.
    • Stephen: back surgery
    • Heal Nehas Nikitas’ eyes and uterus; heal Nehas’ throat from auto immune disease; heal Judy from cancer, depression, anxiety, phobia, panic attacks, phobia, insomnia, and ligament tear of upper left arm; heal Vellu from liver problem.
    • Valentine Judy: Bless our finances, lives, intentions, prayers, studies, future health and teaching profession.
    • Frank: Continuous recovery from his traumatic brain injury, and increased hope and faith in God for this difficulty.
  7. Families: May God heal them so they resolve their difficulties. Thank you, God, for helping them now.
    • Diane’s family, especially grandson Christopher.
    • Pray for Valentine Judy’s family to settle in B’lore this year.
    • Stephanie Moreno-Betancourt’s family: Unity.
    • Mary de los Santos’ family: Healing and peace.
    • Tom Ostrowski: marriage preparation.
  8. For faithful departed: Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. Jesus, console their families.

    • Bless Neha Nikita with suitable, loving, holy, understanding, rich, Catholic, life partners who will keep Vellu Judy with them now and always.
    • Bless Judy to get full pension with arrears at the earliest, to get BPLCARD without any obstacles, to get 2BHKHOUSE at B’lore with minimum rent closer to the Church and park. Pray Neha and Nikita to settle in same house in Bangalore.
    • Steven Hardy: good discernment.
    • Jordanny: Accept God’s help.

How to submit prayer request:

If you have a prayer request, fill out the contact form which can be found on the top menu bar (highlighted in blue).  In the subject drop-down box, choose “Monthly Prayer Request.”  Type your request under the Comment label.  (It looks like the text box is not there.  But it’s there.  Just click right below the label and the cursor will appear.)  If you have privacy concerns, please include only your first name.  I will post them on the first Wednesday of the month and update the list throughout the month. You will find the current list by clicking on “Monthly Prayer Requests” at the top menu bar (highlighted in red).

I will cap the list at 10 so I can focus my energies on a small list.  At the start of the month, I’ll wipe the slate clean and start again
