Msgr. James P. Moroney, rector at St. John’s Seminary in Brighton, offered this good presentation on the liturgy. The old computer programming maxim (garbage in, garbage out) is true for the liturgy; what you put into Mass is what you get out of it. Act bored; you get little. Pour yourself into it; you get everything.
