This school year, instead of reflections during Saturday vespers, my fellow seminarians and I have given reflections on First Fridays and First Saturdays.
My first reflection this semester was on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, the day before Advent. I talked about the three pillars of unlimited Marian consecration, based on St. Maximilian Kolbe’s works. I had already given this talk to the Confirmation students on Nov. 4 at St. Peter Chanel in Hawaiian Gardens, Calif. I adjusted the content for the regulars at St. Clement Eucharistic Shrine.
I was surprised how I began to choke up during the third pillar. This unlimited Marian consecration has power behind it.
May you reap tips from my talk to grow closer to the Virgin Mary. May she always lead you to her son, Jesus, the source of all our hope. Thank you, Immaculata, for allowing me to speak about you.
