Homily for Epiphany: Look with your eyes

Note: After much delay (which you can read about that here), I’m posting on Jan. 5, 2025, this Sunday homily when I was as a deacon at the St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Hawaiian Gardens, Calif., next to Long Beach.

Centered around Matthew 2:1-12, I gave it once on Jan. 8, 2023, for the Epiphany, probably for the 6 p.m. Vigil Mass. Where have I seen Jesus today? Or are you complaining (looking with your mouth)?

Lesson: Do you see Jesus? Look with your eyes not with your mouth.

God bless.
