Audio: Are you aware of the Holy Spirit?

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, I went with Fr. Peter Grover, OMV to his parish mission at Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth, south of Boston.  This was the last night of a three-day mission.

Fr. Peter gave a 30-minute talk on prayer.  I started the evening with a 15-minute talk on the Holy Spirit.  This was a warmup for my First Saturday talk in April on St. Maximilian Kolbe, Spirit and Mary.

People complimented me on the talk.  It dovetailed well with Fr. Peter’s.  His talk on prayer focused on the Our Father with a focus on the Father and the Son.  They enjoyed and laughed at Fr. Peter’s stories.

The most interesting thing was the drive to and from the mission.  Fr. Peter and I encountered police cars at a pizzeria and later at a house.  We had to move over for a fire engine.  We were stuck behind a school bus and in highway construction.  I missed a few turns.  A wreck occurred right in front of us.  Thank you, Holy Spirit, for keeping us safe.
