Note: Remember St. Joseph Retreat House on Giving Tuesday by donating to the OMV Annual Fund.
Brothers and sisters in the Lord, did you know that you can earn a special plenary indulgence before the Year of St. Joseph ends on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021? Check out the news article or the decree from the Apostolic Penitentiary. At St. Joseph Retreat House, the Holy Hour with St. Joseph at 7 p.m. Mondays fulfills the requirement by praying the Litany of St. Joseph.
But the end of this special year should not mean that the spotlight on St. Joseph is turned off. We should strive to grow in our relationship to him as our spiritual father. Thus, the retreat house will continue the Monday holy hour after Dec. 8. Remember that the holy hour also focuses on the Eucharist during the Year of the Eucharist in the Archdiocese of Boston.
If you haven’t grown closer to him, begin today. Soon, you will find his fatherly care for you.
Lastly, Fr. Tim Gallagher, OMV is offering a virtual workshop on spiritual discouragement. Check out the promo video.
