On Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, I wove together Theology of the Body, Suffering and Lourdes in an 1-hour talk to Pure in Heart at St. Clement Eucharistic Shrine. This developed from my paper for my spring classes Theology of the Body and Modern Church History.

It was a joy giving the talk. A few people thanked me for the presentation afterward. Many side topics (art & media, medicine, etc.) can be broken out for future discussions.
But the Upper Room in the shrine was baking that night. I sweated bullets through the group Mass and my talk. Next time, I’ll bring a bottle of Gatorade with me.
